Kae Shonlada (born November 25, 1962) is a two-time Thai Academy Award winning Thai actress, director and producer.a
Although Kae Shonlada's first acting appearance was at three years old, her first significant role came in 1976 as an underage prostitute in Good Hope, for which she received an Thai Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. She won an Thai Academy Award for Best Actress in 1988 for playing a rape survivor in The Lover. In 1991, she starred in The Letters as Ploy, a gifted FBI trainee, assisting in a hunt for a serial killer. This performance received international acclaim and her second Thai Academy Award for Best Actress. Her films and roles have spanned a wide variety of genres, including thrillers, crime, romance, comedy, children's films and science fiction. Popular later films include the Thai box office successes My Girl (1997), Love you all my herat (2002), The sun and the moon (2005), One Fine day (2006) and The Miracle (2008).
